Our classic styles in the new Spring / Summer 2014 colours are selling fast and this is just the beginning of your new wardrobe. With the historic influences of our Signature Collection and key fashion pieces of our Mainline styles still to hit; we thought now was the time to tell you all about the new collection and what to expect over the coming months.
One beautifully sunny day (one of those summers days we’re all dreaming about!) the John Smedley designers hit the Henley Royal Regatta. With their creative caps on the team enjoyed a day of boat races- soaking up a truly British atmosphere! Influenced by the collection of photos from the day, key styles began to take shape. Colour blocking taken from the team shirt colours dominate our Mainline pieces, carrying a strong sports feel. This sports feel runs though out the Mens and Womenswear collections complete with subtle ribbon detail on hem and necklines. Stripes will be shaping your summer wardrobe in our deliciously summery colours such as Goosberry Bush, Lemon Drizzle and Berry Coulis- reminding us on those fabulously warm summers days.
The collection is named ‘Our Time’ celebrating John Smedley’s 230 years in manufacture. It’s a big birthday- and we want to celebrate with you all. ‘Our Time’ is all about our many years of bringing you the finest knitwear in your favourite styles.
